Get to know our consultant Jenny Andersson. She started her journey at MCA after her graduation in 2021. She studied at Chalmers University of Technology (Göteborg, Sweden) and graduated in Mechanical Engineering with a Master of Product Development.

What was your first assignment at MCA?

My first assignment is at Consilium Marine and Safety which is a company with products specialized in fire and gas detection. There I work in the R&D department as a Mechanical and Design Engineer.

What is your role?

I work in product development, which means I get to do everything from writing requirements to producing a prototype. For example, a day might involve discussing design and material choices with my colleagues and then producing 2D and 3D (CAD) drawings which I communicate to suppliers.

How did you get in touch with MCA?

The first contact was through LinkedIn when I was approached by a recruiter after I graduated. After that, I was invited for an interview where I learned more about MCA and we discussed various opportunities.

What do you think are the best things about MCA?

It's the right size of the company. Big enough to take advantage of a wide network, many different industries and skills. But small enough to feel familiar. There is also good group cohesion and we do different activities, gatherings and lunches where you get to meet all your colleagues.
