Work on an incineration plant for a company specialising in waste treatment
Context and objectives
Our employees are working on the multi-stream incineration plant modernisation project in Ivry, on the BIM model part of the site.
This is the most significant plant in Ile de France, built in 1997 as: a selective collection sorting centre and an incineration unit with energy recovery and recycling centre.
This plant is currently the subject of a major transformation project. The reconstruction of this plant appears to be one of the largest waste treatment facility projects conducted in France to date. The end goal is to modernise the current plant with state-of-the-art equipment. What is the ultimate goal? To make it a leading factory in Europe.
By 2023, the existing incinerator will be replaced by an energy recovery unit which will incinerate an annual total of 350,000 tonnes of household waste.
