Design of a “48V Lithium-ion battery pack” for hybrid application

Context and objectives

As part of a Mid Hybrid vehicle development, MCA was in charge of the design and validation of electronic hardware.

Achievements/Tasks

• Meetings with suppliers then electronic component selection
• Electronic design of the control card and the power board
• Simulation of various electronic functions in Cadence
• Testing and validation of printed circuit boards, then validation of the assembled battery pack
• Producing various technical documents :
  - Functional specifications
  - Hardware test plan
  - Hardware-software interface file
  - Supporting file

Deliverables/Results

• Functional control card and power board
• Battery pack delivered on time
