Context

Are you a software developer looking to make an impact in a high-tech semiconductor environment? Our partner in Veldhoven is seeking a Software Developer to support and enhance their Logistics Operations Tool Center, ensuring that tools and equipment are available at the right time and place, in compliance with the highest safety and quality standards.

In this role, you will maintain, optimize, and expand software applications that support tool management processes. You will work closely with engineers and process experts, translating improvement requests into technical solutions and helping shape the future of tool operations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Maintain and optimize internal software applications for tool management.
  • Translate process improvement requests into practical technical solutions.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support for application users.
  • Document and preserve technical knowledge.
  • Act as a key user for SAP, Excel, and other operational tools.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or similar.
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience.
  • Strong PHP skills (Laravel), MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
  • Experience with both frontend and backend software design.
  • Project management experience and willingness to learn new tools (SAP, Spotfire, SharePoint).
  • Proactive, analytical, and customer-focused team player.
