MCA Engineering Netherlands is an ambitious and fast-growing high-tech engineering and consulting organization. Originally French, but now operating in Europe, the secondment of engineers and IT specialists focuses on the design and implementation of innovative systems for large-scale industrial projects. The NL office is located in Eindhoven, but the ambition is to open multiple locations in the Netherlands. Context
You will be working as hands-on migration architect on migration projects with end-user teams for one of our high-tech clients. Cloud and security related work packages are included during the migrations. You drive the migration activities of the project towards new capabilities such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, Bazel, GCP.
Your Responsibilities
• Design workload architectures and create and contribute to migration roadmap(s).
• Prepare and execute migrations (including aftercare).
• Assist in / Make required changes code and architecture changes in software.
• Coach and mentor team members and user teams on capabilities and cloud & security knowledge.
• Collaborate closely with supporting teams and architects to achieve results.
• Create and conduct training on specific topics to the developer community.
What You Bring to the Table
• Background in Software Engineering (MSc)
• 5-9 years relevant experience and strong software development and IT background.
• Knowledge and experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions in an enterprise environment. (GCP preferred)
• Knowledge on security, security development lifecycle, controls and design patterns.
• Knowledge and experience in designing and implementing secure developer capabilities in an enterprise or hybrid cloud environment.
• Experience in embedded software development environments using C/C++/Python and RHEL is a plus.
• Experience with implementing developer services (Build, CICD, SCM systems etc.) is a must.
• Experience with implementing Bazel, GitHub ES, GitHub Actions is a plus.
