MCA Engineering Netherlands is an ambitious and fast-growing high-tech engineering and consulting organization. Originally French, but now operating in Europe, the secondment of engineers and IT specialists focuses on the design and implementation of innovative systems for large-scale industrial projects. The NL office is located in Eindhoven, but the ambition is to open multiple locations in the Netherlands. Context

We are currently looking for a Software Test Architect to work for one of our high-tech clients.

Your Responsibilities

• Defining and carrying out plans and strategies to drive software faults to zero from a test based approach.

• Driving the competence of (automated) testing within the software department and be a sparring partner for software architects and teams.

• Setting up and continuously improve the test automation framework / architecture and CI/CD pipeline in close cooperation with software architects and teams.

• Devise and develop test automation scripts and implement them.

• Align within multidisciplinary teams on the testing approach and testing process.

• Align with the customer software test community.

• Assist teams and contribute in performing software quality assessments and report the results in terms of test coverage and remaining risks.

• Assist in test execution when required in the team.

What You Bring to the Table

• A bachelor or master degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering.

• At least five years of experience in software verification and validation roles in a technical environment.

• Certification at ISTQB Full Advanced Level or equivalent.

• Experience with setting up and improving test frameworks.

• Experience in defining and implementing test processes.

• Experience with test automation development and with state of the art tools.

• Experience with requirements management, Agile / SCRUM methodologies and Test Driven Development.
