MCA Engineering Netherlands is an ambitious and fast-growing high-tech engineering and consulting organization. Originally French, but now operating in Europe, the secondment of engineers and IT specialists focuses on the design and implementation of innovative systems for large-scale industrial projects. The NL office is located in Eindhoven, but the ambition is to open multiple locations in the Netherlands. The company is characterized by a 'can-do' mentality, in which responsibilities lie low in the organization and 'accountability for results' is a natural consequence. Context

In this role, you will contribute to the development and optimization of cutting-edge electrolyzers, integral to the green energy transition. Electrolysis, a key process for hydrogen production, generates a multiphase flow of oxygen and hydrogen gas, which impacts water and temperature distribution within the electrolyzer stack.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Contribute to cutting-edge projects in the renewable energy sector, focusing on the development and optimization of electrolyzers.
  • Play a key role in advancing sustainable energy solutions, helping to reduce carbon emissions and combat climate change.
  • Collaborate with teams across various global locations.
  • Serve as a bridge between data engineering and data analysis teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and data-driven decision-making.
  • Gain exposure to the latest data engineering technologies and methodologies, enhancing your skills and career prospects.

What You Bring to the Table

  • +5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge in deploying, productionizing, and scaling ETL solutions for real industrial use cases.
  • Knowledge of Cloud architectures (pref. Azure).
  • Data processing methodologies and tools/orchestration such as Data factory, Fabric and/ or Databricks workflows.
  • Knowledge of streaming data/IoT solutions (stream analytics or Kafka).
  • Knowledge of time-series data processing.
  • Data Management e.g., SQL, noSQL, metadata, schema, API, etc.
  • Experience in usage of Cloud-programming languages such as Yaml, Python (relevant libraries: numpy, pandas, pyspark).
  • Knowledge/experience in Git.
  • Manage and maintain the tools and infrastructure necessary for CI/CD, including build-servers, code repositories, and deployment automation tools.
  • Knowledge on testing (unit, integration, acceptance, functional).
  • Data governance implementation to build foundation and enable data analytics/science.
  • Ability to create relational data models.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau).
  • Regularly talk to internal stakeholders to ensure their information needs.
  • Partner closely with data analysts and engineers throughout the lifecycle of project. Ensure that necessary data is captured; analytic needs are well-defined up front and coordinate the analytic needs.
  • Knowhow of SCRUM-framework and tooling (DevOps, Jira).
