Giulia, can you introduce yourself and tell us about your role at MCA?
My name is Giulia, and I have been a Business Developer at MCA since November 2023. My primary role is to drive business activities, with a particular focus on digital markets. I work closely with high-tech companies and digital experts on various projects ranging from cybersecurity and data intelligence to infrastructure and software development. From the moment I arrived, I realized that MCA would allow me to play a crucial role within the Digital Business unit by contributing to its improvement and expansion.
What motivates you to work at MCA?
What I appreciate most about MCA is its dynamism and its young, positive environment. I am fortunate to continually learn through each task and interaction, whether with my colleagues or with the partners and consultants I meet daily. It is both enriching and motivating.
What is the best advice you have received at MCA?
The best advice was given to me by my manager, Giacomo, who encouraged me to stay persistent. In such a competitive market, it is sometimes difficult to complete a first project or to carry out initial tasks. But through perseverance and hard work, we can overcome these challenges, which is what I am striving to do currently.
Can you tell us more about the role of a Business Developer?
As a Business Manager, you will be attached to an Agency Director within our commercial team. Your mission will be to manage an agency, including several clients and consultants. You will be responsible for the development and sustainability of your agency by analyzing technical support needs and presenting the most suitable solutions. You will also be in charge of recruiting and managing the careers of your consultants. As a true entrepreneur, you will manage your profit center and ensure your margins. Your career path can evolve towards roles with increased responsibility, depending on your results and abilities, and you may even consider international opportunities.
