Context and objectives
- Develop the new range of Microsat batteries based on the new VES16 accumulator for different projects
- Monitor battery projects from a technical point of view
- Respond to various calls for tender
Achievements/Tasks
- Battery design according to different customers’ specifications (power, size, life cycle)
- Response to various calls for tender received (technical and design proposals) > Drafting of the battery's technical documentation (supporting documentation, user manuals, test plan, customer specification compliance templates)
- Production of various prototypes for tests and qualifications; monitoring prototypes (mechanical and electrical models, vibration and impact models, specific tools)
- Carrying out element analysis (destructive physical analysis, X-rays)
- Monitoring tests (electrical, mechanical and flat tests)
- Monitoring production (including inspections at different points during manufacturing)
- Monitoring throughout battery life (in storage and in flight)
- Technical support provided to integrators and space agencies
